Andrea ElBialy
Andrea is a freelance writer and editor. From a very young age she was enthralled with the written word and would devoutly read anything within reach. Andrea graduated from University with a B.S. in both Criminology and Psychology, with an emphasis on forensic pathology and criminal profiling. Upon graduation Andrea moved to Cairo, Egypt for a period of three years. There she met and fell in love with her incredible husband, of whom she has been married for a period of close to five years. While in Cairo, Andrea worked as a magazine editor and writer at one of the few publications written primarily in English, focusing on regional cinema and theatre. Andrea relocated to the San Francisco Bay area with her husband and began working on her first novel, a psychological crime thriller. She is now focused on publishing her first novel and her fashion blog, which provides tips on fashion and bargain hunting.
Andrea aspires to entertain Suite 101 readers to her fun and informative style of writing; she has an eclectic array of interests and often writes according to what moves her and/or grips her interest. Andrea is always interested in learning more about her readers and urges them to leave feedback or constructive criticism. Comments are always welcome, and extremely appreciated!
